""The Symphonic Festival Orchestra enraptured a public of 1200 people. Fantastic!!!" (Jornal de Poços, 23.01.2001

“The MMF ended yesterday in grand style with the Symphonic and String Orchestras concert … the spectacle was characterized by the interaction between public and orchestras, confirming thus the festival's slogan: “Classical Music for All” ** Mantiqueira Newspaper 1/2/2004

“ In five years of existence, the MMF is a symbol of the transforming power that music can bring into a city. ** ( Viva Musica Anuario 2004 – The Transformation Power of Music in a City: The Poços de Caldas example. )

“It was not less surprising to see the city's Mayer Paulo Thadeu, who stood up to applaud the young student musicians while playing the Brahm's Fourth Symphony with the same enthusiasm of a heavy metal band. Efficiency and quality musicians are not a problem for us … For this city we can expect very soon not only medicine water wells but also fontains of refined sounds. ( Maestro Julio Medaglia – Concerto Magazine / March-2004 )
